Glace Bay Happy Communities Project

Providing Community Champions with the tools to build a strong foundation for their community.

Changing our Community Story

Currently, our story in Glace Bay is that seniors are mostly supported by other seniors, which leads to feelings of isolation and disconnection from the rest of the community.

The Glace Bay Happy Communities Project under Town House’s banner will change this story by engaging residents to create and implement projects integrating older adults into the community through intergenerational experiences.

This is so important because when we have all of our community members engaged and feeling valued we will have a happy, thriving Glace Bay.
